festeggia oggi...
First of all, here's the Kind Fond Love's companion: designed by Brenda Keyes, stitched on Graziano linen with Vikky Clayton silks, it's the Plymouth Sampler,
dedicated to all my USA friends because today is Thanksgiving Day!!! Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for so many lovely friends as you are!!

Il secondo è il mio preferito: di Lesley Rudnicky (Hillside Samplings) il bellissimissimo School of Handworke. Un piacere da realizzare su lino fornito da lei, con DMC e qualche sfumato, sempre
compreso nel kit. Devo dire che la cornice lo rende davvero prezioso!!!!!!
The second one is my favourite: by Lesley Rudnicky (Hillside Samplings) here's School of Handworke sampler. A pure pleasure to stitch on a linen included on her kit,
with DMCs and some hand dyed threads... I confess that IMHO the frame make it very precious!!!

Ci siamo quasi: tra pochi giorni si apriranno le porte della mostra a Bareggio!!! Spero di incontrare tanta gente con la quale parlare senza fine di puntocroce, ricamo, tessuti, schemi, filati,
accessori......
E a proposito di accessori, ecco in anteprima cosa ho creato per la mostra e che troverete al mio collo:
We are almost there: in few days the annual showcase in my little town will open its doors!!! I hope to meet many people and to talk endlessly about cross stitch,
embroidery, fabrics. patterns, threads, accessories....
And about accessories, here's just for you what I have designed this year for my showcase:
E' una pochette che un po' rappresenta quel che è la passione delle Mani che Ricamano. C'è chi dice che dovrei produrre lo schema... intanto ne ho creati diversi, per le mie care socie senza le
quali tutto questo non sarebbe possibile! C'è anche la versione generica, una per la mia piccola Melissa e un pinkeep....
It's a neck little purse that symbolizes my group passion. Someone says that I should produce this pattern... right now I'vev created different versions for my
lovely stitching friends! There is also a special edition for my little Melissa, the generic one and a little pinkeep...
Bene, domani vado a vedere se il mio corniciaio è stato buono incorniciando i miei due samplers come vi avevo accennato... Incrociate le dita!!! Si, perchè io ho
perso la speranza di vederli incorniciati e pronti per la mostra...
Well, tomorrow I will go to see if my framer have been good framing my two samplers I told you before.... Cross your fingers!!! Yes, because I have lost my hope to see them framed and ready for
the showcase.....

Kind Fond Love di Brenda Keyes è uno dei miei sampler preferiti e la storia del mio ha dell'incredibile: ci son voluto ben 6 mesi per incorniciarlo!!! Il corniciaio me lo ha "rapito" per
colpa di una asta fatta a mano che non arrivava mai... Avevo perso la speranza di rivederlo ancora, ma fortunatamente ieri mi è stato consegnato.
L'ho fatto su lino Graziano con i bellissimi filati in seta Vikki Clayton (uno splendore!!!!) uno su due di trama. E' stato scorrevole e piacevole da realizzare proprio per la bellezza e morbidezza
dei filati.
Kind Fond Love by Brenda Keyes is one of my favourite samplers and mine has a curious history: it took 6 months to be framed!!! The framer "kidnapped" it because the
frame I was in love with, handmade, took too long to arrive... I was hopeless to see it again, but yesterday, fortunately, my framed piece arrived!!! Now I am so happy.....
I've stitched it on a Graziano linen 40 count with Vikki Clayton silk threads (stunning!!!) one thread over two. It has been so easy to stitch and I did it with
pleasure, thanks to silk's beauty and smoothness.
Ne ho altri due, portati ieri, da incorniciare: un altro Brenda Keyes e lo splendido sampler di Lesley Rudnicky Home of Handworke; li ritirerò proprio prima della mostra di Bareggio e saranno lì!
Si, perchè il 28 e 29 Novembre c'è la mostra annuale delle Mani che Ricamano.... NON VEDO L'ORA!!!!! Prossimamente la locandina :D

it as well.....); they will be ready for the annual showcase in my hometown!
