Beeeeeeezzz...
Mentre ero in vacanza, nella pace del tardo pomeriggio assolato, mi sono dedicata al mio primo needleroll. Adoro i needlerolls ma non so perchè non ne avevo ancora realizzato uno, mentre sui blog ne vedo sempre tantissimi.
Ho scelto un kit di Lorri Birmingham, una delle designer più sofisticate, simile ad un certo stile di Victoria Samplers, e in poco tempo ecco cosa ho ottenuto:
While I was relaxing myself during my vacations, stitching on the peace of late sunny afternoons, I've completed my first needleroll! I love needlerolls but I've never stitched one of them, who knows why.... many stitchers have done needlerolls, showing them on their blogs and I'm always there to admire them. Well, my choice has been for a cute Lorri Birmingham kit, Lorri... so sophisticated and so retired, unfortunately! She was in some kind similar to the Victoria Sampler elegant style...

Non è carino??? Sono così contenta di averlo fatto! Quando faccio qualcosa di nuovo, mai fatto prima, mi sento davvero felice. Ma guardate bene l'ape al centro... è fatta con tantissimi nodini alla francese che danno un effetto tridimensionale. Carina, no?
Isn't wonderful??? I'm so proud of myself! When I stitch and finish something new, never done before, my heart is happy! Look closer to the gorgeous bumblebee... is stitched using tons of french knots, giving to the ensemble a touch of 3D effect. Nice!!
Se c'è qualcuno che ama i needlerolls e ha un blog o un album pieno di foto, vorrei proprio visitarlo quindi fatemelo sapere!!
