Forse non ho mai pubblicato la foto di My Stitching Treasures! Me ne sono resa conto oggi, perchè ho aderito al concorso di Silkweaver e ho postato proprio il caapolavoro di Jeannette Douglas....

Maybe I've never showed to you the final My Stitching Treasures picture! I've noticed it today, because I've subscribed it for the 2006 Silkweaver contest...

Ho finalmente iniziato la bellissima pochette di Giulia Punti Antichi!

Finally I've started the wonderful Giulia Punti Antichi sewing set!!

Molto piacevole da crocettare, con le sete della Caron, morbide e coloratissime!

Very nice to stitch, using those wonderful Caron silks, smooth and colored!

Per il SAL, ecco finita la carinissima e veloce quarta parte:

SAL time! Here's the nice and quick fourth step:

Al centro del quadrato va messo un bottone: a me non piace quello del kit, così vedrò di trovarne uno diverso, magari di un abitino di uno dei miei tesorini!

In the middle of the square there it goes a button: I do not like at all the one that comes with the kit, so I'll try to find  a nicer one, I'll look for a button from some old dress of my kiddoes!

Ed ecco la quinta parte: scegliete se la parte a piccolo punto la volete fare tutta con la quinta o fare metà e metà con la sesta parte; mi sono resa conto che è lunghetta, quindi vedete un po' come vi trovate meglio....

And here's the fifth step: just decide if you like to stitch the one over one words with this step or split them and stitch them part now and part with the next step....; I've noticed that it's a huge part, so do as you want!!!

Un po' prestino, eh?? Però ho una cosa da farvi vedere, che mi ha lasciata di stucco al supermercato:

Sono i biscotti Pan di Stelle di Natale.... a parte il fatto che giungono in largo anticipo, quello che mi ha stupita sono le decorazioni: SONO SCHEMINI A CROCETTE!!! Hehehehehehe il puntocroce si allarga a macchia d'olio, inesorabilmente! E i fiocchi di neve sono carinini!! Da copiare....

Forse adesso riesco... sono due giorni che provo a postare ma va a fortuna poter aggiungere gli articoli... Ufff... Ecco la quarta parte del SAL!! Va eseguita entro domenica: FORZA!

 Punto dopo punto, il Random diventa sempre più bello, da crocettare e da guardare. La sezione della settimana prevedeva le mie iniziali!

Stitch after stitch, tha Random SAL is turning out beautifully, to cross stitch and to stare to. This step was to stitch my initials too!

Come si vede, ho dovuto fare anche parte della farfalla della quarta parte, per ancorare bene i fili della parte bianca...

As you can see, I had to stitch some stitches of the butterfly in the 4th step, just to tie correctly the thread to make the white section...

Ecco qui la splendida nuova pochette di Giulia Punti Antichi con tutte le matassine necessarie a ricamarla! Sono tutte della Caron: Waterlilies, per essere più precisa! Sono 18 morbide matasse di seta che andranno a comporre una delle meraviglie di quest'anno. Il lino che userò è un Graziano tinto dalla Lakeside Linens nel colore Pearled Barley: splendido! (Si, lo so Giulia che tu avevi suggerito il Lambswool.... ma mi piaceva tanto questo!!! :D:D:D)

Here it is, the new wonderful Giulia Punti Antichi case pattern with all the skeins needed to stitch it! The skeins are 18 soften Waterlilies silks from Caron. I'll use a Lakeside Linens hand dyed linen, obtained from a Graziano linen, Pearled Barley color: wonderful!! (Yes, I know, sweet Giulia, that you suggested to me to use the Lambswool one.... but I was so in love with the Lakeside piece... :D:D:D)

Poi volevo mostrare il risultato finale del bel Hornbook dipinto da Liberty Hill (che so essersi rotta un braccio.... auguri di pronta guarigione!!!) adornato dal grazioso sampler di Leslie Rudnicky della Hillside Samplings:

Ci sono tanti tanti tanti ornamenti, uno più bello dell'altro, pieni di colore e con tante idee per confezionarli. Davvero un numero da non perdere, come del resto tutti gli altri.

You can find inside a lot of ornaments, all so beautiful, full of colors and new ideas about finishing. An issue that you can't pass, as the previous ones!!!

Per Federica: JCSO 2006 la puoi trovare un po' dovunque in USA, Stitching Bits and Bobs, ABCStitch etc.... ma se hai pazienza, la puoi trovare anche da Univers Broderie(click-click) che è in fase di riapprovigionamento: costa 10 euro e spicci ma almeno ti chiedono poco di spese di spedizione, in caso ordini solo quello...

Per Simona: non ho comprato un kit... ma ho acquistato sete, lino e schema separatamente.
