Tempo fa, ormai affezionata alle creazioni di Just Nan dedicate alla linea Queen of the Needle, mi è venuta una piccola idea da far realizzare per rendere veramente mia personale la collezione. C'è un negozio francese splendido, che adoro, e del quale non riesco a fare a meno da tempo, che produce splendidi hornbooks grazie alla incredibile passione dei proprietari: l'Atelier des Elfes. Ho chiesto a loro di produrmi ciò che avevo in mente e loro han detto di si, previa concessione da parte di Just Nan.

Time ago, just because I'm so devoted to Queen of the Needle creations by Just Nan, I had a little idea about how to make really personal my collection. There is a wonderful French shop, that I truly love, and that I can't live without, that sells and makes superb hornbooks, thanks to its owners passion for wooden handmades: Atelier des Elfes. I asked to the owners about what I was thinking about and they said yes, but only with Just Nan permission.

Allora ho contattato Nan e il suo incredibilmente gentile marito John Caldera (di sangue italiano.... :D), i quali mi hanno concesso straordinariamente di dar forma alla mia idea.

Then I've contacted Nan and her incredibly kind hubbie John Caldera (he has italian blood in his veins... :D), and they have kindly given to me the chance to make my idea come true

Non mi resta che ringraziare prima di tutto Just Nan  per il permesso concessomi, ma soprattutto Christophe e Laurence per le loro mani... elfiche!!!! :D

Finally I can show you what I've stitched for Yuko to celebrate her Birthday!!

E' un puntaspilli-portaaghi fatto usando uno schema di Au Fil des Reves che ho assemblato "a modo mio", cambiando il colore dei filati e usando un tessuto abbinato. Spero che a Yuko piaccia!!! Ero così ansiosa, perchè ho spedito il pacco alla volta del Giappone... ma sono felice perchè è comunque arrivato... e in una sola settimana!!!

It's a pinkeep-needlecase made with a model from Au Fil des Reves that I have stitched and finished "my way", changing color threads and using a nice and matching fabric from Moda. I hope she will like it!!!! I was soooo anxious, because the parcel was traveling from Italy to Japan... but I'm happy because it's already there, in just a week!!!

Vi presento una carissima amica, che ha da poco aperto il suo blog e che merita una visita perchè realizza delle piccole meravigliose chicche proprio come tutte noi.

Si tratta di PAOLA , la persona con la quale condivido le mie scorribande da incallita crocettista; ci sentiamo non so quante volte al giorno e ci vediamo minimo una volta a settimana, per non parlare delle nostre "spese pazze": individuata la "preda" basta che ci guardiamo negli occhi e subito scatta la gara a chi per prima dice "lo compriamo!" :D

Anche lei è parte de "Le Mani che Ricamano", naturalmente...

Let me introduce you one of my bestest friend, who just created her own blog; she deserves a visit, because like we do, she stitches and finishes little wonderful masterpieces!

I'm talking about PAOLA, the friend I use to share my cross stitch passion with; we phone each others many times in a day and we meet at least once a week; and we love to buy cross stitch related things together: once we found our "prey", it only takes a quick look between us and immediately we race to say "we buy it!" for first :D
