Tra un progetto ed un altro, c'è sempre un po' di tempo da dedicare a qualcosa di piccolo, che dia subito soddisfazione perchè cucito e assemblato in un attimo. Abbinato alla deliziosa scatolina
dipinta da Liberty Hill, Historic Stitches ha disegnato un piccolo pinkeep che ho completato in poco tempo:
Between two projects, there is always a little time for something smaller, immediately stitched, assembled and enjoined.... This lovely pinkeep, designed by Historic Stitces, goes perfectly with its nordic blue box, obviously painted by Liberty Hill:
Il lino usato è un soffice Graziano, stesso lino che sto usando per... un sampler di Brenda Keyes che presto vedrete!! Il filato è il bel Milady's Teal di Crescent Colors: mi piace molto! Non sono totalmente soddisfatta degli spilli attorno, perchè dovrei trovare il giusto colore anzichè quel bianco perla che ho usato. Chissà... forse un giorno ci sarà una cartella colori per gli spilli, piena di sfumature, proprio come quella dei filati!!!
The linen used is a very soft Graziano linen the same I'm using to stitch.... a Brenda Keyes sampler you'll see soon!!! The thread is the already used Milady's Teal by Crescent Colors: I really love that color!!! I'm not totally satisfied with the pins all around, because I should find the right color instead that pearl white I've used. Who knows: maybe one day there will be a pins color palette full of shades, like the richest threads ones!!!
La collezione va ingrandendosi e ormai non c'è più spazio!
My collection get bigger and bigger, so there is less room for something new!

La dolce Su ha ricevuto il suo scambio d'inverno!! E' stata dura trovare qualcosa di speciale e alla fine ho scelto un disegno di LHN apparso sull'ultimo
numero di Just Cross Stitch Ornaments, facendone un flatfold porta ruota per gli spilli! Praticamente una stazione di lavoro, con una tasca sul retro dove mettere forbici e pinkeepers:My sweet friend Su has finally received her Winter Exchange!!! It has been so hard to find something special, this time, but at the end I've stitched a LHN ornament issued into the latest JCSO, making a flatfold with it and adding something useful, a pinwheel!!! I can say that is a kinda workstation, with a useful pocket on its back where to store the pinwheel, some scissors and anything a stitcher wants!!
Sulla "ruota di spilli" ho ricamato un piccolo motivo tratto dallo schema e ad esso ho aggiunto le iniziali di Su... e in più un sacco di spilli!!! :D
On the pinwheel I've stitched a little motif from the design and I've added Su's initials... plus a looooooooot of pins!!! :D
Ecco il retro: c'è la tasca con il fioco di neve e un piccolo cuoricino d'oro applicato. Visto come la ruota di spilli si infila bene??
Here's the back: there is the pocket I told with a snowflake and a little golden heart. Look how the pinwheel slides in it!

Ho aggiunto dei piccoli regalini al pacchetto, un fob fatto da me coordinato con la workstation, del cioccolato Lindt, un bel taglio di Lino Graziano e qualche matassina di Lino DMC... e anche una piccola candelina Pasquale!

I've added some goodies to the package, a little scissor fob made by me that matches the workstation's colors, a Lindt chocolate treat, a nice cut of the wonderful
Graziano Linen and some DMC Linen skein... and even a little Easter candle!

Il tempo passa.... e in un attimo arriva la primavera mentre il blog è fermo, ghiacciato ancora dall'inverno! Quindi, cosa mai starò realizzando ora? Beh, dato che ha tardato il suo arrivo facendomi rimandare il suo inizio, sto procedendo con la piramide di Just Nan... ma non solo! Infatti mi sono concessa alcuni schemi di Brenda Keyes e ho iniziato uno di quelli più belli da lei disegnati, a mio parere. Ma vi farò vedere in seguito questo avanzamento, anche perchè lo sto ricamando piano piano. Ho anche terminato il mio scambio per Su, che vedrete presto, non appena sarà arrivato a destinazione.
Ma ecco un'immagine della piramide... a pezzi!!!
Time goes by... and in a blink of an eye Spring comes while my blog is there, frozen and still held by winter atmospheres! So what am I stitching??? Well, because I had it late causing me to start it only right now, I'm stitching the Just Nan Pyramid... but not just that! In fact, I've purchased some Brenda Keyes patterns and I've started one of them, one of the most beautiful she designed, I think. But you'll see it later on, and that's because I'm stitching it ery slowly. I've finished and sent something to Su, third step of our exchange dedicated to Wintertime, and you'll see it when she will have it in her hands... :D
But now, here's the first parts of the pyramid:
Molto facile e veloce da ricamare! Si, ma quando verrà il momento di assemblarla... :D
