Arrivato ieri grazie ad un gruppo di fortunate capeggiato da Carol, si tratta del nuovissimo progetto di With My Needle "Quaker Hornbooks" completo di bellissimo hornbook in legno:
Arrived yesterday thanks to Carol and her lucky group of stitchers, here's the newest With My Needle Project "Quaker Hornbooks"; included is the elegant wooden hornbook:
E' bellissimo!! Prevede due tipi di ricamo, o uno su uno o due su due, entrambi fatti con un filato Crescent Colours dal nome Milady's Teal...
It's sooooo nice!! Two different kind of embroidery are offered, one over one or two over two, both with the Crescent Colours Milady's Teal thread....
E nel frattempo ho finito il secondo ornamento di qualche giorno fa:

Ho finito il primo ornamento ed è una delizia... Uno su uno e non, con la cornice che fa davvero la differenza

C'è anche qualcosina in più che posso ricamare, piccola ma carina, mentre mi dedico a questi ricami che necessitano di assemblaggio. Si tratta di due ornaments, uno di Olde Colonial e l'altro di Lizzie Kate, tratti dal bellissimo numero 2005 di Just Cross Stitch Ornaments. Su eBay ho acquistato ad un prezzo mooooolto interessante i due minikit
There is something more that I can stitch, something very cute and fast to assemble, rotating them with my more difficult projects. I'm talking about two nice ornaments from JCSO 2005 issue, one from Olde Colonial and one from LK. I fount their kits on eBay at a very cheap price!
Una curiosità: lo schema LK prevede l'uso dei filati Anchor.

Ecco quale sarà il mio prossimo progetto: si tratta di una carinissima scatola con needlebook e fob abbinati, disegnata da Dames of the Needle. Il lino usato è il Lambswool 32 ct e i filati sono DMC, WDW e GA. La sfida sta naturalmente nell'asseblaggio...
Here's my next project: it's the wonderful Americana Box, completed with needlebook and fob, designed by Dames of the Needle. 32 ct. Lambswool Linen and DMC, WDW and GA threads: the challenge is to asseble it!!!
