Ho finito il Needleroll di Hillside Samplings.... sono davvero contenta! Sì, perchè è davvero una bella creazione, raffinata e folk allo stesso tempo!Ma le parole sono inutili: eccolo!
I've completed the Hillside Samplings Needleroll!!! I'm soooo happy!!! It's a wonderful piece, so cute and so folk!

Bellissimo. Mai avrei pensato di riuscire ad aggiudicarmelo, e invece... EBay può riservarti delle belle sorprese, anche perchè la venditrice che me lo ha spedito è Americana ma di origine Italiana e si chiama Melissa, come la mia piccola principessa!!! Ma di cosa sono così entusiasta??? Ecco...Wonderful. I was not so sure to win this auction, but... it happened! EBay can be surprising, sometimes... and you know what? The seller, a nice lady, is American but with Italian roots and her name is Melissa, like my little princess!! Oh... but about what I'm gettin' mad???? About what I'm talking of???

E' il kit completo, cestino compreso, del Sampler Sewing Basket di Lesley Rudnicki aka Hillside Samplings!! Arriva da una classe di Leslie, quindi lo schema è autografato (siiiiii!!!) e ci sono i primi punti messi da Leslie in persona, sulla tela che andrà attorno al cestino.
Compresi nel kit sono tutti i filati necessari, le tele, anche la cotonina per foderare il cesto, un paio di forbicine, un puntaspilli e delle graziosissime piccole spolette in argento! Sarà un piacere realizzare questa piccola meraviglia!
It's the complete class kit of the gorgeous Sampler Sewing Basket, by Lesley Rudnicki of Hillside Samplings!! It comes with the basket, the autographed pattern (YES!!!) and the first stitches already done by Leslie herself!!! And of course all the threads and fabrics needed to complete the project. Special mention for the included stork scissors and for the pinkeep with a nice motto on it, plus a bunch of very cute little silver spools, bead size!!!
It will be a pleasure to stich it.....

Chiamata in causa dalla mia sorellyna Stefy nel gioco di rendere note BEN 5 cose di me che nessuno conosce, sinceramente come lei NON SO COSA DIRE!!! Come cavolo faccio a sapere cosa gli altri non sanno di me??? O meglio... chi legge il mio blog, tranne pochi, non sa assolutamente come io sia, come io mi comporti o cosa io faccia nella vita e sinceramente non so neanche quanto agli altri interessi sapere cose piuttosto che altre... Oltretutto nel mio blog non parlo mai di quel che faccio nel privato, perchè il mio è un blog-diario sul solo mio hobby... Quindi ecco cosa ho deciso di scrivere, relativo alla sfera di cross stitcher, come è nello spirito del blog:
Called by my systerella Stefy to tell at least 5 things about me that nobody knows, well... I dunno what to say!!! How can I say what the others know about me? Who read my blog doesn't knows me at all, unless fews, doesn't know how I am, what I do or else, and I'm sure that probably people has not too much interest to know this and that... By the way, my blog's spirit is not to tell what I do privately, but is to tell what I stitch or to show anything embroidery related.
So... here's what I've decided to "reveal", strictly tied to my cross stitcher world:
1 - Odio gli schemi "confetti-stitches" cioè quelli che devi ricamare con 150 colori minimo e con cambio colore ad ogni singolo punto
1 - I hate "confetti stitches" patterns!!!!
2 - Adoro tutti i gadget legati al ricamo/puntocroce, tanto che non so più dove metterli!
2 - I love every gadget embroidery related (and I have my house full... soooo full of them!!!)
3 - Difficilmente compro materiali in Italia, salvo rarissime occasioni
3 - Usually my LSN are foreign: rarely I buy something in Italy
4 - Odio dover crocettare "per forza" e quindi non mi lego mai a Round Robin e simili
4 - I hate to cross stitch for Round Robins or similar because I want to cross stitch without pressures
5 - Adoro gli originali e non c'è nulla al mondo che li eguagli!!!
5 - I love and support ORIGINALS!!! There's nothing that gives more satisfaction than something original!!!

Ci sono delle cose che sembrano introvabili... e invece un bel giorno ti capitano lì davanti ed è un attimo averle!!! Prima di Natale sono riuscita a scovare un attrezzo che sì esiste in grandi quantità, ma ahimè non utilizzabile in Italia a causa del differente tipo di spine e tensione elettriche: io l'ho trovato con spina e tensione italiane!
There are things that you can't find anywhere in the world, you think, and suddenly they are there in front of you, ready to be in your hands! I've looked for a nice tool for months, finding it only in foreign versions (there are a lot of them in USA, I know... but in Italy we have different plugs and 220-240V AC!!!) and not available to be used here unless with an unconfortable trick... Well, I found it! Just before Christmas I've found the italian version for this sooooo useful tool!!!
Eccolo qui: il Mini Iron nientemeno che della Clover, in versione europea!!! Utilissimo per le pieghine varie dei pinkeep e delle piccole realizzazioni, è davvero maneggevole e serve per un sacco di cose!! There it is! Here's the Mini Iron from Clover, the original one, Eu version!!! Very useful to iron those little creations like pinkeeps and so on, it's a handy tool that you can use here and there!!!
Anguria e merlo saranno contenti.... ehhehehheheWatermelon and the blackbird will be happy about it....
