Vi ricordate il Merry Cox? Ho ordinato una decina di giorni fa una stoffettina per finirlo, scegliendo a video e non certo confrontando i cotoni con la stoffa direttamente; beh, incredibile ma vero, arrivate le stoffe ho piacevolmente scoperto di aver azzeccato colore e fantasia!!! Che ne dite? Non per niente si chiama Old Fashioned Charm!
Do you remember my Merry Cox wip? I've ordered few days ago some linen to finish it, choosing just using my sixth sense, not the right way (checking directly the floss with the fabric...); well... I've received a package and I'm so happy that my sixth sense is working best than ever! The color is perfect and the pattern too! What do you think about it?? Its name is Old Fashioned Charm!

Equeste sono le altre stoffe, comprate insieme a quella per il set Merry Cox... un sacco di fantasie blu, con rose: così romantiche!

Mai lunedì è stato così carino!! Infatti il postino nel pomeriggio mi ha recapitato un piccolo graziosissimo e prezioso pacchettino... Apro il tutto e... SORPRESA! Una creazioncina deliziosa donatami da Paola! Che meraviglia... e c'è anche la mia iniziale con sotto un cuoricino! Ma eccovi qui le immagini
I never had a so nice monday! The mailman today has been generous giving me a little precious package... SURPRISE! I found inside a cute creation that my friend Paola sent to me! Wonderful... and on the back there is my initial with a tiny brass heart! Here's the little masterpiece... isn't cute???

C'è una vera e propria passione per gli Hornbooks, qui a casa mia... Infatti ho iniziato il Quaker Hornbook di With My Needle (perdendo il treno di Paola... :D causa pochi filati a disposizione per la splendida purse di DotN...), utilizzando un Belfast della Lakeside e il colore Milady's Teal di Crescent Colors, scegliendo la versione uno su uno, molto bella e dettagliata.
There is a deep passion for Hornbooks, over here... In fact I've started the Quaker Hornbook of With My Needle (loosing the chance to make a SAL with Paola... :D I have just few colors for the DotN purse...), using a Lakeside Belfast and Milady's Teal floss from Crescent Colors. I'm stitching the one over one version, more detailed and so appealing.
E ho anche un'altro piccolo HB da completare... si tratta del nuovo ABC Hornbook della Silphide Toquèe, che vi posso mostrare solo ora perchè il suo gemello è finalmente arrivato a casa della mia sorellyna :D :D :D
And I have more in progress, another little HB to stitch... it's the newest ABC Hornbook from a french designer, Agnès from La Silphide Toquèe: I can show it to you because its twin is finally in my Systerella's hands... :D :D :D

Ma guardate quiiii!!! La mia sorellyna Stefania mi ha mandato un pacchettino graziosissimo... e dentro... un magnete dipinto a mano da applicare come portaaghi sul lavoro!!! Non è graziosissimo????
E nella bustina con il messaggio, c'era anche un magnete da frigo... frase azzeccatisssssssima per me e lei!!! :D "Chiunque abbia detto che la felicità non si può comprare, non sa dove fare shopping".... :D

Inside her message envelope I found another magnet, a fridge magnet, with this motto: who said that you can't buy happines, doesn't know where to go shopping .NIIIIICE WORDS!!!
Ho anche terminato un nuovo Topiary... me ne manca solo uno all'appello!
I've also finished a new Hillside Samplings Topiary... now just one more to go!!!

Bella eh??? Un vero capolavoro dipinto a mano tanto da sembrare antica; e ha un profumo meraviglioso. Non so se è più bello l'interno o l'esterno, certo è che Liberty Hill ha molto buon gusto anche se usa disegni semplicissimi e ripetitivi.
Really nice! It's an handpainted masterpiece that looks antique; and its smell... it's wonderful! I don't know if I like more the inside than the outside, what I know is that Liberty Hill has a nice taste even if simple graphics are used...
