Un altro needleroll per la mia collezione, sempre firmato Shepherd's Bush: è il Thisbe, molto elegante e... rosa! Così tenero che non potevo non accostarlo all'orsetta principessa della mia piccola Melissa...

One more needleroll for my collection, designed once again by Shepherd's Bush: it's the Thisbe Needleroll, so elegant and... pink!! So tender that I had to take a picture of it with the Princess Bear that belongs to my little Melissa...

Ecco il needleroll visto da vicino: eseguito su lino bianco con fili DMC, ha qualche punto speciale e qualche perla qua e là, con un pizzo antico abbellito grazie a qualche filo rosa. La frase su di esso dice "Cuori per te"...

Here's the needleroll in a closeup: stitched on white linen with DMC threads, it has few special stitches and  beads, with a piece of antique lace embellished thanks to pink threads. The phrase on the needleroll says "Hearts for you"...

La mia needleroll mania avanza.... Con la complicità di Paola Baroncini ( a proposito... ma quand'è che farai un blog tutto tuo???? Manchi dalla rete come il sale alla pasta!! Coraggio!!! :D ) che sa sempre trovarmi quel qualcosa in più, la mia casa ora ha una serie di needlerolls nuovi made by Shepherd's Bush: una delizia!
Uno di questi, il Pansy Roll, l'ho appena finito e fotografato per il blog:

My needleroll mania is unstoppable... Thanks to my lovely friend Paola Baroncini (BTW... when you'll have your own blog???? The net needs you as nachos need cheese!!! C'mon!!! :D ) who always knows to find for me special things, my house now has a new collection of needlerolls, made by Shepherd's Bush: so cute!!!
I've already stitched one of them, the Pansy Roll, and here it is:


Lino lilla, filati DMC, pizzo antico, bottone, nastrino e perline, tutto incluso nel kit. Molto raffinato e dal sapore di una volta... La scritta ricamata uno su uno dice: "Le violette sbocciano per salutare il giorno, piegando le loro teste in un dolce schieramento".

Lilac linen, DMC threads, ancient lace, button, ribbon and beads, everything included. Very elegant and with an ancient taste... There is a lovely inscription stitched one over one saying: "Pansies bloom to greet the day, nodding her heads in sweet array"

Se frequentate il mio blog, penso che sappiate chi è la mia amica Anita: c'è il suo banner proprio qui a sinistra, dato che è la designer di Anita's Little Stitches... Famosa per le sue fragole (ne disegna e ne ha anche realizzate a dozzine...), è anche una persona speciale, carina e gentilissima, nonchè di grande talento come finisher.
Adoro le sue fragoline, così ho acquistato il suo primissimo disegno con il kit di finitura. Questo è il risultato:

If you come here often, I suppose you know my friend Anita: there is her banner here at left, because she's the wonderful Anita's Little Stitches designer... She's famous for her strawberries (she designs them and she also finished a lot of them...), but most of all she's a special  friend, cute and kind, and she's a pro finisher, very talented.
I love her strawberries, so I've purchased her very first set with the finishing kit. And this is what I made thanks to it:


Bella, vero??? E ce ne sono ancora due da fare... Realizzata su Lino Graziano 28 ct., con filati DMC e Vikki Clayton (rosa realizzato espressamente per Anita), finita con perline e nastri in organza, è stata veloce da fare e di grande effetto una volta finita. Piccolo tesoro...

Nice and cute, isn't it??? And there are two more to go... Made on Graziano cream linen (28 ct.), is stitched with DMC threads and a special silk rose color made by Vikki Clayton especially for Anita; it's embellished with nice rose beads and organza ribbons. Quick to stitch, it has a nice finish effect. It's a little trasure....
